Wow! It's been so long since our last post! Lots has been happening in Room 21. We started practicing our play, Pirates of Grammar Island, with the rest of the third grade. We can't wait for our performance on March 27th! This week, we read Day 10 of the 10 days of our Martin Luther King Jr. book. Next week, we'll wrap up with the afterward and then our study will be complete. We had a visit from one of our Project Cornerstone parents. This month we read The Empty Pot. It was a fantastic story about a boy participating in a contest to become emperor. Today, we went to PE and played Cone Ball. In math, we are finally done with division!!! We took our unit test today and are ready to move onto fractions next Monday. We completed our first week of our new spelling. Week two will start going home for homework next Monday. Open House will be here in 17 school days! We're getting ready and working hard to show off for you! We finished our read aloud book, The One and Only Ivan. We're now reading, one of Mrs. Winn's favorite's, A Wrinkle in Time

Happy 1st birthday to Mrs. Winn's nephew, Bennett!
Happy birthday (yesterday) to Mrs. Winn's sister and cousin!
We also celebrated Natalie's birthday in class this week!
